This Instruction articulates the Department’s requirements for successful completion of the Mandatory Supervisory Training for those HHS employees holding supervisory positions, including managers and Officers of the Commissioned Corps. Mandatory supervisory training is fundamental to the strategic development of all Agency supervisors.
This offering is also free to HHS employees. Search course number “00206612” in the LMS. NIH Training Center course #: NIHTC5524 is an equivalent offering for a fee that is planned to held at least once a month in FY21. The course registration is handled through the HHS LMS. This course has a cost associated with registration/enrollment.
(a) To maintain HHS certification, a laboratory must: (1) Successfully participate in both the maintenance PT and inspection programs ( i.e., successfully test the required quarterly sets of maintenance PT samples, undergo an inspection 3 months after being certified, and undergo maintenance inspections at a minimum of every 6 months thereafter);
This training is mandatory for all HCS and TxHmL service coordinators and includes a quiz with a minimum required score. This course informs service providers of behavioral support services in the HCS and TxHmL programs related to the provision of behavioral support services in those programs.
