“Non-recourse” is just a term that denotes certain qualities of a loan or debt. Essentially, this kind of debt protects the borrower from being held personally liable for the full value of the debt. In other words, if you default on a non-recourse loan, the borrower is allowed to take at maximum the collateral with which you backed the loan.
